Do Ya: A Handwritten Font That Makes Your Campaign Stand Out

It’s 3:47 p.m. on launch day—and I’m squinting at my phone screen, refreshing Instagram Stories previews for the third time. The sale graphic looks clean, the colors pop, but something’s off. The headline feels… forgettable. Not wrong—just soft. Like it’s whispering instead of announcing. That’s when I swap in Do Ya.

Instantly, the energy shifts. Not because it’s flashy or overdesigned—but because Do Ya carries presence. It’s a handwritten font from Script Amp that balances effortless cool with quiet confidence. Think smooth, rhythmic strokes—not tight calligraphy or chaotic doodles. Letters lean just enough to feel human, spacing stays generous for breathing room, and every “y” and “a” has that subtle bounce that makes your eye pause and stay.

We used Do Ya across six touchpoints for a summer product launch: Instagram feed posts, Reels covers, Pinterest pins, email banners, YouTube thumbnail text overlays, and our Shopify homepage hero banner. In each case, it wasn’t about decoration—it was about clarity through contrast. On a busy feed, where users scroll in under two seconds, Do Ya’s strong visual rhythm cuts through noise without shouting. It doesn’t compete with imagery; it complements it—guiding attention right where it needs to go.

Here’s what works—and why:

We paired Do Ya with Montserrat Bold for headers and Montserrat Regular for captions across all assets. The contrast worked like a visual handshake—friendly but professional, expressive but anchored. No competing personalities. Just smart hierarchy.

For Pinterest? We used Do Ya for pin titles (“5 Ways to Style It”) and kept descriptions in a lightweight serif (Cormorant Garamond) for editorial trust. For YouTube thumbnails? Only the main hook—“Free Workshop Starts Friday”—in Do Ya, centered, sized large enough to read at 120px wide. No subtitles, no extra lines. Just one clear reason to click.

What surprised us most was how consistently it reinforced tone. Our campaign leaned into “calm confidence”—not hype, not urgency, but grounded excitement. Do Ya delivered that mood without needing illustration or animation. It’s the kind of font that makes a quote graphic feel intimate, a sale banner feel personal, and a webinar invite feel like an actual invitation—not a transaction.

Before locking it in, we checked the full package: Do Ya includes OpenType features like stylistic alternates and ligatures (that elegant “fl” and “th” connection), multiple weights (Light, Regular, Bold), and clean WOFF2/WOFF/TTF files. It supports Latin-based languages—including accented characters for French, Spanish, and German—so it scaled smoothly across bilingual Instagram carousels and EU-targeted ads. And yes—we confirmed commercial licensing covers digital ads, client templates, and merch mockups. No surprises at delivery time.

Readability on small screens? Solid—if you keep size and spacing intentional. At 28px on mobile web banners, Do Ya remains legible even with fast thumb-scrolling. For Instagram Story text (which renders at ~36px height on average), we bumped to 40px and tracked letters slightly tighter for cohesion. No kerning adjustments needed on desktop—it’s well-hinted and balanced out of the box.

We didn’t use Do Ya everywhere. Our logo lockup stayed in a custom wordmark. Product specs stayed in a neutral sans. But wherever we wanted to say *this matters*, *you’ll remember this*, or *this is for you*—we reached for Do Ya.

It’s not magic. It’s thoughtful typography doing its job: making messages easier to recognize, faster to understand, and more pleasant to return to. In a world where attention is fragmented and feeds are saturated, choosing the right script font isn’t about aesthetics alone—it’s strategic alignment. Do Ya fits campaigns that value authenticity over polish, clarity over clutter, and human rhythm over robotic precision.

Whether you’re building a week of Reels, prepping a seasonal email series, designing a set of Pinterest-ready templates, or launching a digital course—the moment your headline stops blending in and starts standing out? That’s when you know you’ve picked the right font.

And more often than not, that font is Do Ya.
